Beginning her professional career as a model with mixed success, Lina quickly gained a name for herself as an artist after turning the camera on herself. Initially spending some years keeping her work private because of its highly personal nature, Lina began publishing her work on Flickr and shortly after in self-published books. These self-published books formed a visual diary of Lina’s life, showing intimate moments in her relationships, moments of upset and dramatically lit macro images of bodily fluids of varying sorts.

The ongoing series of books, now totalling 11 editions has been released as one box set by JBE books in 2019 and more recently another series of double exposures called ‘Touching’ - a handful of which feature below.
